Great question!
A little about me and maybe your question will be answered;
My name is Faith Adeline and I love taking pictures. From a very young age, I felt a strange sense of power when I held a camera and my obsession has only grown. Between polaroids, point-and-shoots, DSLRs, video cameras, and film cameras (from 1930-present day), I find myself growing more and more in love with photography and its many forms. In the winter of 2011, I was given my first professional camera. From then on, I have been taking photographs of landscapes, still life, and my personal favorite: people. I find that I love taking pictures of people the most because everyone longs to feel beautiful. When I am able to photograph people just being naturally them, naturally beautiful, their responses are absolutely priceless. I want everyone to be able to experience that feeling. When people are able to see a naturally-edited picture of themselves and say, "Is that really me?" that's when you know its a good photograph. Experience I have excelled Photography 1 and 2 classes in high school, attended a district photography competition through Skills USA, have had several photography opportunities in college, and have been taking free-lance portraits for 7 years (paid and volunteer). I have the Adobe Suite on my computer and thanks to countless tutorials and my wonderful teachers/professors, I know how to "use it and not over-do it"! Style If I could describe my style of photography in any way, I would tell you I can't. My style changes constantly. I'll see a picture on pinterest that looks cool, be inspired by the style, and then see a completely opposite style and feel equally inspired. However, there is a look I ALWAYS love, and that's the natural look. Take a peak at my pictures on my blog and Facebook page to see what I mean! I use photoshop to enhance the natural beauty, rather than to alter it. |
